Cloudinary — Photo Storage
Photos upload directly from your phone to Cloudinary's servers. Free up to 25GB — you'll never hit the limit. The HTML file stays lean forever.
Setup (5 min, one time only):
1. Go to cloudinary.com → sign up free
2. From your dashboard copy your Cloud Name
3. Go to Settings → Upload → Add upload preset
4. Set "Signing Mode" to Unsigned, save it
5. Copy the Upload Preset Name
6. Paste both below and hit Save
Once saved, every photo you upload in Add Product goes straight to Cloudinary. No base64, no file size issues.
Admin Account Setup
Set up your secure admin email and password. Once set, this replaces the plain password — your login is protected by Firebase Authentication.
One-time setup:
1. Go to Firebase Console → Authentication
2. Click Get started → Enable Email/Password provider
3. Click Users → Add user → enter your email + password
4. Copy your User UID from the users list
5. Paste the UID into firestore.rules where it says YOUR_FIREBASE_UID_HERE

Setup (10 min, one time):
1. Go to console.firebase.google.com
2. Click Create a project → name it luminary-vintage
3. Disable Google Analytics (not needed) → Create project
4. Click Firestore Database in the left menu
5. Click Create database → choose Production mode → pick us-central location
6. Go to Project Settings (gear icon) → scroll to "Your apps" → click </> Web
7. Register app name as luminary-vintage → copy the firebaseConfig object
8. Paste each value into the fields below → hit Save & Connect
9. Back in Firebase Console → Firestore → Rules → replace the rules with the ones shown below → Publish
